In this discussion we will be exploring the ways in which homophobia, biphobia, transphobia etc present themselves in 2018, how these crimes affect our students and how we can create positive social change, particularly reflecting on the “No Place for Hate: Hate crimes and incidents in further and higher education: sexual orientation and gender identity” report by NUS and where we are at 7 years on. 

Afterwards, we will be holding a film/documentary screening on the topic.
