In this discussion we will be exploring how racism and islamophobia present themselves in 2018 as part of Hate Crime Awareness Week. We will be homing in on the historical, societal, cultural and individual perceptions of racially/religiously motivated hate crime and the consequences these perceptions and the hate crimes themselves have on people of colour, particularly for our students.
The panel debate will run from 6-8pm and will be followed by a film screening. You are free to stay for the screening, or leave if you need to.
Spaces are limited, so please use the BOOK NOW button to sign up for this free event.
