This traditional English celebration commemorates the arrest of Guy Fawkes, a member of the Gunpowder Plot who attempted to blow up the Houses of Parliament in 1605. As well as a funfair and large bonfire there is also a spectacular fireworks display to end the night. Meet us at the Reception desk in the Students’ Union building at 8:00pm and we will walk up to the Forest Recreation Ground together.
