Nottingham Castle is a magnificent 17th-century ducal mansion built on the site of the original medieval castle and boasts spectacular views across the city. We’ll also be exploring the fascinating network of man-made caves and tunnels that lie underneath. Conveniently, the caves exit next to one of the oldest pubs in Britain - Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem (known as the Trip).
Students must meet the trip leader at the specified meeting place. Do not go directly to the venue.

Students who report directly to the event venue will be refused entry without entitlement to refund.
Full payment will be taken at the time of booking. If you book a place on an event but then discover you are unable to attend, refunds (minus the booking fee) are available up to 3pm on the day of the trip (3pm on Friday for weekend events) from one of the following locations:
• City Site – Box Office, Students’ Union
• Clifton Campus – Students’ Union reception, Ground Floor, DH Lawrence building
• Brackenhurst Campus – The Orangery, Students’ Union building
Students who miss the deadline are not entitled to a refund, regardless of the circumstance. It may be possible for you to sell your ticket to another student by turning up at the event meeting place at the start of the trip, but we cannot guarantee this.
It is your responsibility to ensure that you arrive at the event meeting point on time, and dressed appropriately. We are unable to offer refunds to students who arrive late and miss the trip, or who are unable to participate due to inappropriate clothing or footwear.
