We’ll visit spectacular Chatsworth House, location of the 2005 film Pride and Prejudice, taking in the beautiful grounds and works of art including an exhibition of contemporary sculpture. The cost of the trip includes entrance to the gardens. The coach will then take us on to the Victorian spa town of Matlock Bath for a promenade along the picturesque riverfront for candyfloss and treats.
Chatsworth gardens have good access. There are also adapted toilets available. Please email welcome.week@ntu.ac.uk if you would like to come on this trip and have accessibility requirements, so that we can make transport arrangements.
“If you are based at Brackenhurst and would like to come on this trip, note that the first bus into Nottingham arrives at 09:55, which is too late.
If you would like us to arrange free transport to get you from Brackenhurst to Nottingham in time for the trip, email welcome.week@ntu.ac.uk . We will then be in touch to tell you where and when your transport to Nottingham will pick you up.”
