Clifton Comedy Box ft. Adam Rowe & Stephen Bailey
We wanted to write something funny here, but we’ll leave that to the professionals – laugh you’re a** off with some of the UK’s finest stand-up comedy talent at NTU’s very own comedy night!
Time: Doors 7pm, comedy starts at 8pm
Cost: £4 entry
Tickets: Pay on the door or free with Wristband Plus. Space will be limited to arrive early to avoid disapoitment. Wristband + holders should collect a free ticket from the Clifton SU Shop to guarentee entry. First come, first served.
Adam Rowe
Adam Rowe is widely regarded as one of the most exciting young comics to emerge in recent years. Despite still being in his early twenties, Adam is already one of the most sought after acts & comperes in the country and is fast becoming a huge favourite at all of The UK's biggest comedy clubs and festivals. His natural, laid back persona combined with his brutally honest, opinionated stand-up and his phenomenal ad-libbing ability make each of his performances unique and gloriously unpredictable, but more importantly; always hilarious.
Stephan Bailey
'Guilty pleasure' (Daily Record), Stephen Bailey is a comedian, television personality and writer, whose friendly and open brand of gossipy humour has made him one of the most sought after acts on the UK comedy circuit today. He is 'annoyingly sharp' (The New Current) and audiences relate to his sassy style as he takes to the stage with 'fantastic natural wit and charisma' (Edinburgh Festivals). In 2015, his show was nominated for the Amused Moose Comedy Award (Best Show).

Entry to the Students’ Union are subject to the terms and conditions set out below:
- The management reserves the right to refuse admission for any reason.
- The management reserves the right to eject any patron from the establishment should they breach any rules or regulations of the venue.
- The management reserves the right to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of patrons.
- This event is 18+ and for NTU first year students only.
- NTU first year students are those that have accepted a place on a full-time or part-time course starting in September/October 2017 at Nottingham Trent University or a Nottingham Trent University Higher Education Course at Confetti Institute or at Nottingham College. This includes Postgraduate courses as well as Undergraduate courses. Students that have relocated from another university and are enrolling at Nottingham Trent University for the first time are also included. Any students retaking part or all of their first year are also classed First Year Students. Any NTU students that are not classed as “First Year” will be eligible to attend Refreshers events instead.
- Student card and valid photo ID required for entry. Valid ID includes all PASS certified identification including (but not limited to) driving licence, passport and citizen card.
- Photocopied ID is NOT accepted as valid.
- Out of date ID is NOT accepted as valid.
- All tickets and entry fees are non-refundable.
- The Students’ Union will not be held responsible for loss or damage to any personal property bought into the venue.
- All patrons consent to filming and sound recording as members of the audience.
- Only beverages bought on the premises may be consumed in the venue.
- Smoking is prohibited inside the venue, including the use of e-cigarettes. There is a designated smoking area outside of the venue.
- Line-up is subject to change.
- In the instance that the line-up changes, no refunds will be given.
