Do you experience sensory overload?
Get rattled or easily overwhelmed when you have lots to do in a short time?
Are you highly responsive to your senses, your feelings and other people?
If you feel “too sensitive” for the world around you, you’re definitely not alone. According to research, this trait or temperament is part of the lives of around 20% of people — and a large number of these may be creative people.
On top of this, Highly Sensitive People (HSPs) have more complex and interesting dreams, have a rich and intricate inner life, and respond more deeply and creatively to art, music and nature.
Whether this is you or someone you know, join this NTSU-led workshop for a short explanation of High Sensitivity, followed by relaxed discussion on how we can respond to sensitivity in ourselves and others – and what this all means if you’re working in the fast-paced creative industries!
This event is part of the Confetti Industry Week programme.
