Weds 5th October is National Do Something Nice Day

On Thursday, NTSU's Student Voice and IAS teams will be hanging out in the Pavilion to share some sweets and chat about how the Information and Advice Service can help you.

Come along and:

• Share messages of positivity with your fellow students
• Learn more about the support available to help you succeed at University
• Discover the opportunities available for you to make the most of your time at NTU
• Test your agility in our Hook a Duck game - the fastest hooker will win free tickets for our day trip to Liverpool on Sun 16th October.

We have seven Equality & Diversity Networks you can join. Our Equality and Diversity Networks bring together students who are passionate about equality, diversity and inclusion to improve the student experience at NTU.They are the best way to meet students with shared values and experiences like yours. Each network is led by a Chair and Vice-Chair who are elected by and from the network. They are responsible for representing the students in their network, growing and developing their community, and ensuring their time at NTU is the best it can be. You can nominate yourself to become a network leader right now.

Our Information and Advice Service provides independent, free and confidential advice, information and representation to all NTU students. We have four expert advisors who offer guidance in various areas, from money matters to mental health.

Our independent status means we are ideally placed to provide impartial advice and representation for students regarding academic advice such as academic misconduct, academic appeals procedures, complaints against the University, and disciplinary proceedings. If we can't help you, we can usually refer you to someone who can. You can book an appointment with us here.
