Make sure to wear your fuzziest mittens and bring your favourite thermos with tea as we head to Donna Nook National Nature Reserve to visit the seal pups! Donna Nook covers more than 10km of coastline between Grainthorpe Haven in the north and Saltfleet in the south where it borders the Saltfleetby-Theddlethorpe National Nature Reserve.  Every year, during November and December, grey seals come here to give birth to their pups!

We will leave from Newton Steps at 10am, to arrive in Donna Nook around 12:30pm. You will have 3.5hours to enjoy the Nature Reserve before we had back to Nottingham at 4pm, to arrive back around 6:30pm.

 

What do I need to bring?

• Your ticket!
• Appropriate clothing for the weather on the day
• Any spending money you want
• A rucksack
• A bottle of water

Your ticket does not include the price of food, so we would recommend bring a packed lunch or money to buy food. 

Instructions for ticket holders:

• Arrive at the pick-up location at least 15 minutes before the stated departure time. This allows us to keep the trip on schedule.
• Have your ticket ready for inspection. 
• Please be dressed appropriately for the weather conditions
• Our driver will not wait for you if you are late. They will leave in the morning at the specified pick-up time, and again the departure point. If you miss the return coach, you will have to utilise public transport options to return to Nottingham.
