Wollaton Hall:

The home of batman and where deer roam freely throughout the park grounds. Wollaton Hall has over 500 acres of explorable space consisting of formal and botanical gardens and lakes to explore. You can even take up specific trails and or go on an orienteering course too! Throughout the year it hosts lots of events including Nottingham's biggest festival of the year; Splendour Festival.

Attenborough Nature Reserve:

Formerly one of the UK's biggest gravel pits, then turned nature park, Attenborough Nature Reserve was opened by Britain's renowned naturist and honorary member, David Attenborough. The park has multiple trails to explore, whether its by the river or the parks vast lakes. You can find an abundance of wildlife here which is fascinating to witness.

You can take the 36 (Orange Line) get off at Cator Lane. Walk for 20 minutes along meadow lane on to long lane. Follow signs for Attenborough nature reserve.

Colwick Park:

Linked with Nottingham Racecorse and known for hosting huge rave events (Detonate Festival) With 90 acres of Lakes, forest trails and more ducks than you could possibly imagine. We'd recommend a trip out to Colwick Park. They run loads of events and activities too!

Holme Pierrepont:

Used as the Olympics water sport centre in 2012, Holme Pierrepont is an exciting place to explore, packed full to the brim with activities of every kind.

Located over the river from Colwick Park it's perfect for long runs and bike rides as well as loads of water sport based activities.
