Following on from the successful launch of the ‘Notts Student Manifesto,’ Nottingham Trent Students’ Union (NTSU) would like to invite you to the launch of ‘Light the way to Brackenhurst!’ Students have been telling their Union that the road between Brackenhurst and Southwell simply isn’t safe at night. As a result, NTSU hope to work closely with local councillors, MPs, and candidates in the upcoming elections to ensure our students can travel between campus and the town as securely as possible.

We need as many students as possible to come along to an open meeting with the local decision-makers and to speak about how they find travelling along the road. After this, we will be walking down to Southwell Leisure Centre and students will be lining the pavement. When the local councillors and MP's go past, students need to turn on a torch and light up the road, showing what a difference it will make to have some lighting on the road.
