The Winter Holidays are just around the corner so come join us for a day trip to the Manchester Christmas Markets to get into the proper spirits! The Manchester’s Christmas Markets attracts thousands of people to the city every year where they offer mouth-watering international food, drinks, and wonderfully crafted gifts.

There are over 300 stalls for you to visits spread across the city, accessible to all and with vegetarian offers to boot! This Christmas Market is famous for traditional bratwurst, but you should also treat yourself to some Hungarian goulash, Spanish paella, or a good old-fashioned hog roast.

While you immerse yourself in the warm and cosy atmosphere, the market will tempt you with all it has to offer – gifts, crafts, jewellery, and clothes. European and local producers offer everything from find amber jewellery, handcrafted leather bags and top-quality bonsai trees, to handmade Belgian kitchenware, framed photo prints and French soaps.

We will be meeting at Newton Steps and travel from there. Transport to Manchester is provided, we will depart from Newton Steps at 11am and arrive around 1pm. We will be leaving Manchester at 6pm. 
 

What do I need to bring?

• Your ticket!
• Appropriate clothing for the weather on the day
• Any spending money you want
• A rucksack
• A bottle of water

Your ticket does not include the price of food, so we would recommend bring a packed lunch or money to buy food. 

Instructions for ticket holders:

• Arrive at the pick-up location at least 15 minutes before the stated departure time. This allows us to keep the trip on schedule.
• Have your ticket ready for inspection. 
• Please be dressed appropriately for the weather conditions
• Our driver will not wait for you if you are late. They will leave in the morning at the specified pick-up time, and again the departure point. If you miss the return coach, you will have to utilise public transport options to return to Nottingham.
