This event is only open to NTU students. Experience a spectacular evening of dance and music celebrating talent from across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire’s Commonwealth Communities.

This event is only open to NTU students.

Join us for a trip to Nottingham Playhouse to enjoy a spectacular evening of dance and music from Nottinghamshire's Commonwealth Communities.

Experience a diverse collection of performances including:

  • Classical Indian Kathak dance group Manushi
  • singer songwriters Jude Kirk, Chole Dring and Jinda Biant performing across a range of rock/pop/indie and blues styles
  • a high energy street dance showcase from Unite the Scene... and more!

Introduced by the Lord-Lieutenant of Nottinghamshire, the evening will be compered by Kemet FM's Jackie P Gardener. With a pre-show outdoor performance by NAAC live Dohl Drumming group, it will be a night to remember!

Inspire Youth Arts aims to make performances as accessible and inclusive as possible and the evening will include a BSL interpreter for the main show. For any further access or support needs please let us know when booking your ticket.

Cost: Free. Booking is essential as places are limited.

Time: Please head to Nottingham Playhouse for 6.30 pm to enjoy the pre-show performance, followed by the main performance from 7 pm.
