Join us for a riotous, funny play told through the technicolour lens of three British Muslim schoolgirls at Nottingham Playhouse.

The play is about three teenage girls who form an unlikely friendship. They hang out, hide from bullies and challenge each other with Tik Toks, beat-boxing, dance routines… They just want to build their social media empire, or study astronomy, or become as good a rapper as Megan Thee Stallion. But they undergo a political awakening when they realise that what you say – even what you think – is viewed very differently depending who you are.

Inspired by graphic novels, hip hop, pop culture and real-world youth activists, Liberation Squares asks what it takes for young Muslim women today to be the heroes of their own stories.

The post-show Q&A starts at 9pm, this is FREE to attend and if you’d like to take part in this you just need to stay in your seat.

Cost: FREE to students. This is a special offer for NTU students *.  Booking is essential as places are limited. 
Time: Doors open at 6.45 pm, please arrive in plenty of time to be allocated your seat/s for the performance.  Performance starts at 7.45 pm
