In this discussion we will be exploring how racism and islamophobia presents itself in 2018. We will be honing in on the historical, societal, cultural and individual perceptions of racially and religiously motivated hate crime and the consequences these perceptions and the hate crimes themselves have on individuals, particularly our students. We will also be probing at possible solutions to questions surrounding the issues.  

Afterwards, we will be holding a film/documentary screening on the topic.
