RAG Kilimanjaro Challenge Information Session

Are you ready for the adventure of a lifetime? NTSU RAG are offering you the chance to climb Africa's highest peak in 2021 for Dig Deep, a charity dedicated to sanitation and clean water in Kenya.

On Wednesday 23rd September at 6pm Dig Deep will be hosting an information session over Zoom where you can meet the team, hear all about the challenge AND receive a £100 discount on the challenge registration fees if you sign up within 48 hours of the information session! The session will run on their Facebook page, and the event can be found here: https://bit.ly/33kyO5J.

Mount Kilimanjaro is one of the most impressive sights in Africa and climbing it is one of the all-time great achievements. It’s the largest freestanding mountain in the world and the trek encompasses terrains from jungle to glacier. Reaching the summit and watching the sun rise over the vast African plains truly is the experience of a lifetime.

At Dig Deep they know that clean drinking water, safe toilets and good hygiene are essential, and yet in rural Kenya, too many children and communities lack these services. Their Mission is to unlock opportunity for Kenya’s poorest residents, county by county, by ensuring everyone has clean water, safe toilets and good hygiene - forever. By reducing the time lost to water collection and preventable disease we remove barriers to learning and earning, allowing people to lift themselves out of poverty. They don’t do projects and walk away - they’re working with government and business to set up services and build self-sustaining systems.
