Ready to Rent is a NUS designed workshop we would recommend all students attend whether you are a first time renter or not.

The workshop covers:

• What to look for when house hunting
• Key questions for potential landlords
• Deposit protection
• EPC, HMO licensing and  Gas Safety
• Inventories
• How to check your contract
• Know your basic rights
• Guarantors
• Where to seek further help

Students who have attended the training will be confident in the choices they make, empowered to challenge poor practice and able to avoid really dodgy Landlords.

Oh and we will throw in a free lunch and chance to enter NUS' Ready to Rent Prize Draw (T's and C's Apply)

Recommend a friend scheme:

1.Book on to a workshop with 3 friends and receive a free Costa voucher each when you attend
