Societies Assembly is the highest governing body of societies.

It consists of 2 representatives from every society, the VP Activities, and the Societies House Executive.

It is compulsory that at least two committee members of each society attend, 1 of which must be the president.

During meetings, motions for the Code of Practice (the governing document of all societies) are discussed and the Assembly also holds the VP Activities to account by scrutinising the report and asking questions. 

The Assembly also regularly hears applications of new societies, and votes on whether they should be affiliated.
