Are you a total book worm who loves sharing their thoughts and discovering new books? Are you wanting to be a total book worm and be inspired by the women around you? Join NTSU Survivors Support Network as we get together for our monthly book club meeting in Nottingham Women's Centre Library! (A secret safe haven away from the world)
For February and LGBTQ+ History month, as a community we have chosen to read either 'The Miseducation of Cameron Post' by Emily M. Danforth or 'My Policeman' by Bethan Roberts. But as always, you are not restricted to reading these books as we are aware they can be triggering and not for everyone! We get together to discuss our thoughts on the books we have been reading that month and to share recommendations. So, you can either join the discussions or come along for a little social and relax away from studies as we hide away in the Centre's attic, a room full of books written by self-identifying women.
We meet outside the City Students' Union at 12:50 to walk over together. You can either follow us on Instagram at @ntsu_survivorsnetwork to keep updated or book a slot now so we can get in touch! Alternatively, we also have a WhatsApp Group for our little community, so send us an email or DM and we can add you to the group.
This event is free and held at Nottingham Women's Centre for self-identifying women.
