Are you a self-identifying women who's a big book worm? Or are you wanting to get stuck into books and be empowered by those around you? Then come join the Survivors Support Network for a cup of coffee in Grumpy Mule and let's talk about all things books!
As we launch this club within NTSU's Survivors Support Network, we'd love to meet you and hear what books you've been obsessing over. Whether their fictions, an empowering novel or biography, or maybe even poetry - come along and lets inspire one another. Then once we have showed off and recommended our favourite books, we'll decide on what our first book should be we read collectively together over Christmas, then in the new year after exam period we can get together and chat about all our thoughts and feelings.
(This is a safe space where experiences of sexual violence aren't explicity discussed - but a social group just leisuring getting together knowing this is a safe space with women who may have shared experiences)
