Help In the Community (HITC) is a NTSU society which gives volunteering opportunities to students at NTU. We mainly do our two weekly soup runs. However, we have lots of one-off opportunities for you to take part in as well. You can volunteer as much or as little as you would like! Not only that but we hold lots of great social events to help you meet new people whilst also raising money for the society and other charities.
In the volunteering week commencing the 12th of February we have decided to host volunteering activities spanning over five days for any NTU students to join. Check the timetable to see what events you might be interested in!
Monday 12th Feb: Soup run 6:15pm-8:15pm
Tuesday 13th Feb: Volunteer at our bake sale
Wednesday 14th Feb: Volunteer to help hand out our free student meal bags 1pm- until we run out
Thursday 15th Feb: Garden maintenance at Nottingham Castle 11am-2pm, Homeless Kitchen with Guru Nanak Mission 5:30pm- 8:15pm
