Are you a total book worm? Or do you want to try get yourself into reading for a mindful break? Join NTSU's Survivors Support Network for self-identifying women as our book club moves to its newest location, in Nottingham Women’s Centres Library!
A space full of publications either written by women, published by women or for women, it’s an empowering space waiting to be used. Not only will we be discussing last month's book, The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath and choosing next month's book, we will be getting an exclusive tour and run down on the history of the centres library! Learning about the archives, exploring the history of the books that hide in the shelves and being inspired by the women's voices which are in the buildings walls. Whether you’ve read the book, want to start reading more or want a tour of the city's beautiful women's centre, join us for a wholesome few hours and turn off from the world as we take a break from studies and exams.
This event is free and we will meet outside the City Student's Union to head to the centre again. For more information be sure to follow the Survivors Support Network's Instagram @ntsu_survivorsnetwork or Facebook group to be kept up to date and join the book clubs group chat, or book a spot so we can keep you dated and get in contact about meet up times!
