Fancy getting your hands dirty, a physical challenge, travel, experiencing another culture? This opportunity is for you!!
Morocco- The Big Build, Childreach International
Morocco is famous for its ancient souks, vast deserts and bustling metropolises but most do not know of the vast Berber communities living in the high Atlas Mountains. All secondary schools are not free in Morocco meaning that many of the children in these Berber communities are unable to go on to further education. Many of these communities also speak local languages and not the national languages of Arabic and French which are needed to be able to integrate with wider society, making job opportunities difficult. This incredible community-focussed volunteering experience helps to build free, accessible education centres in the local area teaching these much needed skills. The Big Build gives you the chance to see first hand the impact you’re making, get your hands dirty, and spend time with the local community you are transforming.
