Put simply, The Parlotones are South Africa’s biggest-selling rock act ever, with 600,000+ albums sales worldwide. All the more impressive when you consider this has been achieved via independent record labels in just a few key markets. Double Platinum, Platinum and Gold Records saturate the band’s discography. Their live story is even more humbling having played live to over 2 million people in their career to date. Add to that the 1 Billion people that watched the band on TV as they opened the 2010 Football World Cup, and you get a sense of this band’s success so far.

Tickets & entry to the Students’ Union are subject to the terms and conditions set out below:
- The management reserves the right to refuse admission for any reason.
- The management reserves the right to eject any patron from the establishment should they breach any rules or regulations of the venue.

- This event is 18+ and open to the public.
- Valid photo ID required for entry. Valid ID includes all PASS certified identification including (but not limited to) driving licence, passport and citizen card.
- Photocopied ID is NOT accepted as valid.
- Out of date ID is NOT accepted as valid.
- All tickets are sold by the promoter, AGMP Live.
- All refunds and ticketing queries should be directed at the promoter.
- The Students’ Union will not be held responsible for loss or damage to any personal property bought into the venue.
- All patrons consent to filming and sound recording as members of the audience.
- Only beverages bought on the premises may be consumed in the venue.
