The Rubenstein Kiss at Nottingham Playhouse

Join us at Nottingham Playhouse for this searing, intelligent and poignant drama. Amidst rampant paranoia about the enemy within, the shadow of suspicion falls on two radicals from a religious minority. The Rubensteins are a devoted Jewish couple, closely modelled on the real-life Rosenbergs who went to the electric chair in 1953 for passing US atomic secrets to the Soviet Union – protesting their innocence to the end. This multi award-winning play by James Phillips skips back and forth in time, as a later couple questions the Rubensteins’ guilt.

Students must meet the trip leader at the specified meeting place. Do not go directly to the venue.
