World Mental Health Day: Wollaton Park Trip

Join us for a day at Wollaton Park!

To mark World Mental Health Day on October 10th, we are taking a trip to Wollaton Park, a beautiful green space in Nottingham. We will provide transport there and back from City Campus. The day will give us the chance to relax, spend time outdoors, and take part in activities that support wellbeing.

During the visit, students will have the opportunity to:

  • Explore the park’s woodlands, lake, and gardens.

  • Enjoy time with friends in a calm, natural setting.

  • Take some time in the fresh air and to have a break from the city.

The trip aims to provide a positive and refreshing break from everyday routines, helping us reflect on the importance of looking after our mental health and supporting each other.

Please remember to bring:

  • Comfortable clothing and shoes suitable for walking outdoors.

  • Weather-appropriate items (e.g. raincoat, sun hat, sunscreen).

  • Snacks & water (these will not be provided).

The bus will leave at 1PM, ENSURE YOU ARRIVE AT 12:30 AT NEWTON STEPS, SO YOU DON'T MISS THE BUS, and arrive back at 4PM

Book your free space now! We look forward to an enjoyable day together in the fresh air!
