Young People Of The Year reveals, recognises and rewards young unsung heroes & is making its way back to Nottinghamshire. The awards ceremony will be held in the amazing Dome of Kelham Hall.

Can you help out at this wonderful ceremony & make the night for the young volunteers, charity workers & carers one they wont forget? Roles include setting up for the event in the Harry Potter style hall, also possibly presenting the awards.

It’s a great evening & YOPEY will be provide travel expense & a buffet.

ROLES: Presenters -People will tell the stories of about a dozen finalists. Setting up and operating the autocue. 2-3 technically minded young people are preferable for this job. Receptionists (checking in everyone and 'bossing around' councillors and other dignitaries, telling them where to sit etc).Reporter/s. 1-3 people who are good at English language and preferably interested in a career in the media. I will give them training via email and if their article is good and quick enough -they need to write up the story of the award within 24 hours -I will try to get them a byline in their local paper. Runners, Meeters & greeters. Photographers or film-makers with their own equipment they would be welcome to photograph/film the event.
