Join us for a relaxing woodland walk and take in the brisk winter air at Budby South Forest. There are lots of bird species to see including goldcrest, redpoll, linnets, and possible waxwing! We have also had good luck mushroom foraying in this area before so if youre into mycology you might find some interesting winter species. The RSPB team at Budby have also been carrying out deadwood tree creation in order to bolster the local population of saproxylic invertebrates so anyone interested in bugs might find interest here too.

We plan to leave at 1pm and will meet outside Brack library as per usual however if you would liek to meet us there that's fine just email in advance to tell us you're getting your own transport. The plan is to get back around 6 but it might be later or earlier depending on how long everyone wants to stay.
