We will be assisting Christopher Jackson for the ongoing Grizzled Skipper Project. For the second time this winter we will be heading to the south east of the county to help support the grizzled skipper along a stretch of the great central railway at East Leake.

The aim will be to build on last year’s work, keeping the cleared sections free of regenerating scrub. If we get a good enough turn out, then hopefully we will also be able to create another new scallop area.

If you wish to assist in this brilliant conservation project, we will be meeting outside of Brack library at 9.15. Please wear suitable outdoor clothing and footwear, and a packed lunch.
