Meeting place: Outside Bramley building at Brackenhurst campus. We want to leave at 6:00am if possible so please try to arrive early so we can get on the road as it is a long drive (~3 hours). We will aim to be back at Brackenhurst for 6pm. There is a cafe and toilets on site for lunch.
Spurn Point is one of the iconic natural landscapes on the East Yorkshire coastline, with a 3-mile peninsula with stunning beach views of both the North Sea and the Humber. This time of year means that incredibly rare bird species can also be found around the hedgerows and trees as birds are blown in from the sea while on migration. Numerous committee members know the site well and will be on hand to help you with good places to search and with identification.
If birding is not your thing don't worry, as the views alone are brilliant and it always makes for a nice day out in nature!
