Addressing the sustainability skills gap.
The engineering sector is facing a major skills crisis, with a recent survey finding that 93% of UK engineering companies with a sustainability strategy do not have staff with the skills to fulfill it. As the world faces ever-changing and increasingly urgent challenges, the question must be asked: how can we equip the engineers of today and tomorrow to meet the needs of all people within the means of the planet?
Join us on Thursday 24 November at 13:00-13:45 (GMT) for the next installment of our Constructive Conversations series, as panelists explore the changes we need to see in education and industry to address the skills gap and challenges underpinning this, and ensure engineers can make a meaningful input to addressing the climate crisis.
