Nottingham Trent Film Festival will showcase a myriad of films varied both in length and genre. From short films to feature films, animation to documentaries, the film festival will entertain the Nottingham-based audience.

The festival aims to present projects students have spent their university years making, as well as those made by Nottingham Trent University alumni in hopes of familiarising audiences with their work. This provides an opportunity for audiences to be introduced with not only a range of new films, but the unique styles and creativity of new, young filmmakers which they hope will set them apart and make them the next award-winning directors.

Nottingham Trent University Film Festival is an event run and organised by students at Nottingham Trent University’s Film Society, and Nottingham Trent University’s Art & Design School. This is an independently run event. None of the organisers are affiliated with Nottingham Trent University’s Student Union, academic board, staff, management, or board of governors.
