Open to all undergraduates at NTU. The workshop will present you with an opportunity to gain knowledge on the key negotiation principles from LEX’s negotiation officer and guest speakers (James Allen – Previous winner of the competition & Joy Davies – Solicitor (non-practicing), Accredited Mediator). The workshop will also provide you with a chance to enter the competition.

The annual competition is run in affiliation with Shoosmiths, a national law firm. The competition consists of 3 rounds, the first being held at NTU and the subsequent semi-final and final being held at Shoosmiths’ Nottingham office. The competition is a great starting point for those wishing to develop the important skill of negotiating.

Those who win the competition will receive a day’s work experience at Shoosmiths and assorted other rewards.
