Thank you for your foodbank donations!

Christmas is a time for giving, and students in halls did just that at the end of term by donating a staggering amount of items to our Foodbank Collection!

Working with UPP and NTU Accommodation, over 800 items were collected and shared equally between three projects: Hope Church Clifton, St Anne’s Food Bank and Emmanuel House. Ranging from tinned foods to toiletries, and long-life goods to winter clothing all the items were gratefully received, and available for those that needed them in time for Christmas.

While Peverell collected the most items, Meridian Court and Sandby achieved the highest proportion of donations in relation to the number of residents they have.

We want to say a massive thank you to everyone who donated items or volunteered their time to help with the collection; we couldn’t have done it without you!
