Description

EUROPE’S FIRST SPACE LAW SOCIETY

Whether you are fascinated by the final frontier, love exploring the unknown, have an interest in how the science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) subjects support operations in the vacuum of space, or just have a passion for law - this could be the society for you!

Explore the Future of Law — Beyond Earth!

We’re one of the very few societies in the world dedicated to space law — a field that's quickly becoming one of the most important areas of law for the future of humanity. The best part? You do not need any previous legal knowledge of space - anyone on any course is welcome!

This academic year will be our 3rd and will see major improvements to the society such as unique events and networking with industry professionals.

What's in store this year?

  • Networking opportunities
  • (Hopefully) a trip to the Leicester Space Centre
  • Panel events featuring professionals with valuable insights
  • Possible visit(s) to the Clifton Campus observatory
  • Presentations and debates on the past, present and future of space law and exploration

So much to explore...

  • Shuttle / satellite launches
  • Moon bases
  • Military action in space
  • Mining asteroids
  • Spaceports

So, what are you waiting for? Join us this academic year as we dive into the exciting dimension where space and law collide!
