Welcome to Oriental Society, your home away from home!

The Oriental Society is a vibrant and inclusive community that celebrates the rich cultures, traditions, and diversity of East, Southeast, and South Asia. Our aim is to create a welcoming space where students can make lasting friendships, experience different cultures, and create unforgettable university memories.

Throughout the year, we host a wide range of exciting events, including games nights, society dinners, and club nights. We also throw big events like our Lunar New Year celebration, Winter balls, and Sports days as well as collaborating with other Oriental societies across the UK!

Becoming a member unlocks even more opportunities. Members receive discounted tickets to our paid events and exclusive member only benefits throughout the year. We’re also proud to partner with over 40 local and national sponsors, including Gong Cha, Unit 13, V+ Karaoke and more… giving our members access to a wide range of exclusive discounts and offers on food, drinks and entertainment.
