ROCK SOC FORMAL

For the first time in 3 years, we’re able to bring back the traditional Rock Society Formal! It’s a lovely celebration event to round off a year with your pals and go out in style! We’ve hired a formal function room where we will all be treated to a posh 3-course meal, have some professional photos taken together and hand out awards for some of the most iconic members - chosen by you guys! We’ll also have our own music playing during the event, to keep things in our “classy” Rock Soc style.

Date, Time and Location:

Friday 27^th May, 7 PM – 11 PM at The Embankment (282-284 Arkwright Street, NG2 2GR)

The embankment is located near Trent Bridge. The number 1,4 and green line buses stop nearby at the Trent Bridge bus stops, in both directions. Please try to arrive on time!

Dress code:

The dress code is formal wear, so nice dresses/shirts/suits/shoes etc are preferred. We’re aware not all of you will have suits on hand but please try your best to look smart I.E. no ripped jeans, trainers etc.

When purchasing your ticket, you’ll be asked to select your meal choices from the set menu:

Starters:

Butternut squash & sage soup w/ crusty roll (Vegan)

OR

Chipotle mushrooms w/ Sourdough (Vegetarian)

Mains:

Aubergine Vegetable Bake (Vegan)

OR

Herb crusted Hake Fillet w/ Lemon & caper Butter

OR

Thyme Marinated Chicken Supreme w/ Red wine jus

Dessert:

Chocolate and Raspberry tart w/ Chantilly cream (vegan minus the cream)

OR

Extra notes:

The ticket system assumes that the person buying a ticket is a member and additional tickets are non-members. If you have a membership please buy your own ticket so you’re not overcharged!

If you’re buying more than one ticket at once, please use the long answer box on the form to specify the names and choices for your extra guests. If their menu choices aren’t specified, we’ll default them to the vegan options.
