We will be hiking the Ladybower Reservoir Loop on November 18th! A tough but rewarding hike at 26km in length with a total of 800m in elevation gain. We will see some stunning views around Derwent Dam, Hope, and the reservoir itself. You will be required to bring a torch as we will begin hiking before sunrise.
The entire trek should take around 7 hours and afterwards we will get some food and drink in the pub at Yorkshire Bridge.
Your ticket does not cover transport, you may drive or take the train, it's up to you. We will all meet in Hope station before setting off from there. Those who want to travel by train you should take the 05:20 train that arrives in Hope (Derbyshire) at 06:46. The retur train will be the 16:38 that arrives back in Notts at 18:31.
This route will be difficult. Areas may be muddy and rain is likely due to the time of year. Please make sure to wear appropriate hiking footwear and bring a waterproof jacket and trousers if you have them. Gaiters are recommended also for the mud. You must have a torch.
Check the route on our AllTrails for all the technical info to make sure you are able for it, as we will need to keep up pace.
There will be 18 tickets available and they will release at 5PM on the 11th November.
