Gigs @ The Grove aims to showcase and feature bands and artists from both SEMP Members and wider NTU by providing real gigging opportunities to up and coming bands.

 

This event will be headlined by the Loud & Live 2026 Champions - Intercolour.

 

Before Intercolour play the event will be opened by Elijah James. Elijah is an indie artist originally from Manchester but now based in Notts. He will perform a “chaos of classics” as he continues todevelop his personal catalogue of originals and covers!

 

After Elijah will be our Loud & Live 2026 Runners up - Every Sunday Is The Same. Every Sunday is The Same are an indie band from Nottingham inspired by The Verve, Coldplay and Fontaines DC. They are a new band taking the Notts music scene by storm quickly winning the 2nd place at the inter-university battle of the bands series - proving themselves as a serious contender for success in the music industry!

 

Headlining will be Notts based band Intercolour. Intercolour are a psychedelic rock meets blues and jazz styles band. Influenced by the music from the 70s, Intecolour took the stage by storm with their unique style and hauntingly soulful vocals and dominated the competition to be crowned best student band in the city at Loud & Live 2026. The band are aiming to expand their audiences and become everyone’s favourites Just like they did at THE LEVEL in March!
