Are you passionate about improving the student experience in your school? Become a School Officer!
As a School Officer, you will be a vital part of representing students in your school, making sure that their voices are heard. You'll work closely alongside NTSU and NTU staff and student representatives to advocate for an improved experience, and help shape the student journey for future cohorts.
As part of a team of 14 School Officers, you'll have the ability to have an impact across the University, whilst also individually making changes that are specific to your school.
This role is only eligible to students who will be undergraduates for the academic year 2026 - 2027. We will be recruiting one UG School Officer per academic school. The role is for a fixed term during the 2026 – 2027 academic year, amounting to approximately 186 hours across this time, to be mainly worked during term time. This will be around 6 hour per week.
You will be provided with all the required on-the-job training.

Brackenhurst UG School Officer

As part of a team of 14 School Officers, you'll have the ability to have an impact across the University, whilst also individually making changes that are specific to your school.
Role Details & Key Dates
- Eligibility: Only eligible to students who will be undergraduates for the academic year 2026–2027. We are recruiting one UG School Officer per academic school.
- Hours: Fixed term across the 2026–2027 academic year, amounting to approximately 186 hours across this period, worked primarily during term time (approx. 6 hours per week).
- Training: Comprehensive on-the-job training provided. A mandatory training day will take place on Friday 23rd October 2026.
- Interviews: Wednesday 14th October – Wednesday 21st October 2026.

We are looking for part time bar staff to help the running of The Shed bar at Brackenhurst Campus.
This will involve shifts during the day, as well as evening and late night shifts including the setup of the bar, smooth running of shifts including drinks service and clean up, with shifts running up until 2am for some events throughout the year.

Nottingham Trent Students' Union (NTSU) is recruiting up to 3 Student Trustees to join our Board and help shape the future of your Students' Union as we launch our new strategy. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your leadership skills, gain experience of governance and strategic decision-making, and ensure that the student voice is at the heart of everything we do.
Eligibility: Must be a current student. No previous trustee or governance experience required.
What does a Student Trustee do?
Student Trustees are volunteers who are part of NTSU's Board of Trustees, responsible for overall governance, strategy, and long-term success. Working alongside elected student officers, external trustees, and senior staff, you'll help to:
