The Students’ Union and University collaborated to host the first Nottingham Sustainability Conference earlier this week.  

The conference which took place on Wednesday brought together sabbatical officers and university sustainability staff from across the country with the aim of making the UK a better place to live and study.

Themed workshops on topics such as climate emergency and food poverty and presentations from sustainability experts were just some of what took place with the aim of giving attendees the tools and knowledge they need to contribute towards a more environmentally, socially and economically responsible future. 

The event was a huge success and we hope to host it annually as part of our ongoing commitment to becoming more sustainable.
