NTSU’s Election Nominations Are Now Open

Want to be the voice of 40,000 students at NTU and gain valuable leadership experience? Now’s your chance.

 

Every year, NTU students elect a team of student representatives who make sure students’ voices are heard when important decisions are made at the University.

You can now nominate yourself to be a student representative for the 2022/23 academic year. 

We have full-time, paid positions (£21k salary) for people graduating or taking a year out from June 2022. And we have part-time positions for students who will still be studying next year.

All roles start July 2022. Choose from:

 

Full-time positions

Executive officers who represent students on everything from their welfare to their studies. The roles available are:

  • NTSU President
  • VP Community & Welfare
  • VP Education
  • VP Opportunities
  • VP Postgraduate
  • VP Sport

 

Part-time positions

  • Campus officers who represent students studying at Brackenhurst, Mansfield, or Confetti.
  • Committee members who lead their societies and sports clubs.
  • Undergraduate School Officers who represent the academic interests of students in their School.
  • Equality and Diversity Network Chairs who represent a range of student demographics at NTU. The seven networks are:
    • Disabled students network
    • Student parents & carers network
    • Ethnic minorities network
    • Mature, postgrad & non-traditional network
    • Gender network
    • Sexuality network
    • International students network

 

As an elected representative, you will have the ability to make important changes at the University and Students’ Union, develop vital skills such as leadership, organisation, and public speaking, build your professional network, and give your fellow students a voice.
