Platform Award winners Midlands Conference

Platform, NTSU’s student magazine, won a regional award at the SPA Awards last week.

The awards which were hosted at Warwick University recognise the achievements of student publications and Platform came away with Best Developed Publication for the work they’ve put in since their relaunch.

As well as relaunching the publication, they’ve doubled their average monthly views and tripled their number of Freshers’ Week signs ups, making it one of the most successful couple of years the society has ever had.

Harvey Clitheroe, Platform’s Editor, said: "I am honoured to have been a part of this society since its relaunch. We have put so much hard work into making this magazine what it is today and the level of progression we’ve seen in the last two years has been crazy. Platform is such a great society to be involved in right now and I believe it can grow to achieve even better things and win even bigger awards in the future."
