About NTSU
What is a Students’ Union?
A Students’ Union is a student-led organisation that exists to represent, support, and empower students throughout their university journey. Independent from the university itself, the Union ensures that every student’s voice is heard on the issues that matter most. At Nottingham Trent Students’ Union (NTSU), we’re proud to be affiliated with the National Union of Students (NUS) and dedicated to enhancing student life through representation, services, events, and development opportunities that help our members thrive both on and off campus.
Who We Are at NTSU
Nottingham Trent Students' Union (NTSU) is one of the UK's largest and most active unions, dedicated to enhancing student life through events, support, and representation. We employ over 300 students and 60 career staff, fostering an inclusive and dynamic community.
Our key focuses include people and culture, sustainability, and learning and development. Since 2022, we have achieved EcoCampus Silver Accreditation, an 'Excellent' rating as a Green Impact Students' Union, and now divert 97% of in-house waste from landfill, aiming for Net Zero by 2040.
As an Equal Opportunities and Disability Confident Employer, we welcome applicants from all backgrounds. Due to high application volumes, we may not provide feedback for unsuccessful applications. If you don’t hear from us within four weeks of the closing date, your application was not successful this time.
