Welcome to your Grad Ball...

Your chance to experience the send-off you deserve! We couldn't let you go without saying goodbye! It's time to get dressed up, celebrate your graduation and say goodbye properly.

This is the first time in over a year that the Students' Union is opening its doors for a standing event and it's only right to make this all about you, our graduates! We've pulled out all the stops to make this event an unbelievable experience to mark the end of your university journey.

Headline Performer & Guest DJs

A headline act will mark the occassion and help you celebrate your final send-off. Plus surprise guests and resident DJs spanning your time at Trent

VIP Red Carpet Experience

Arrive in style and get a picture with your friends as you walk the red carpet

Free Drinks Reception

Get a free glass of bubbly on arrival at the drinks reception

Casino Area

Try your hand in the fun casino complete with full size roulette table, black jack and slots

Big Dancefloor Expereince

Hundreds of Trent Graduates share the dancefloor for one last time. It's going to be emotional!

Confetti Cannons

Confetti will be raining down from the rooftop as we mark the occassion with arena size confetti cannons

Free Crêpe Station

Madame Crêpe brings her mobile food station to the yard. Enjoy a free crêpe with a choice of toppings including, sugar, lemon, honey, cinnamon, Nutella, strawberry jam & maple syrup!

Sit under parasols and fairy lights in the magical outdoor space

Dress to impress; think black tie and either cocktail or evening dresses.

Tickets:

Tickets are available from 10am on Wednesday 18th August. Limited tickets available due to venue capacity. Sold on a first come, first served basis.

FAQs

Who can attend?

Anyone that graduated from an NTU undergraduate or postgraduate course in 2020 or 2021 can attend the ball as well as their guests.

Can I buy more than one ticket?

Each graduate can purchase up to 6 tickets for themselves and their friends. If you are buying more than one ticket please ensure you arrive together at the event to ensure smooth entry

What food / drinks will there be?

There is a free drinks reception on arrival. Plus a fully stocked bar all night with SU drink discounts. In the outdoor terrace there will be free crêpes available.

What is the Covid-19 Policy?

The Students' Union will continue to follow government guidelines to make sure events are run as safely as possible.

Ticket holders are encouraged to take a lateral flow test within the 24 hours before attending the event and to not attend if they receive a positive result.

Face masks are not compulsory, but they are welcomed for those who would prefer to wear them.
