First ever Pohela Boishakh event at NTU! Pohela Boishakh is the Bengali New Year, celebrated on the 14th of April every year. On this day, we rejoice at the start of the new year with food, song, dance, and people. We traditionally wear red and white, red symbolizing color to life and white symbolizing a new beginning of life. Bring your friends and your family! This is an event that is open and enjoyable for all age groups, starting from the children of the family up to the elderly, for teens and parents! We will have workshops where you can make your own jewelry from pearls and flowers, face painting, and lots more! Keeping Ramadan in mind, we have made arrangements for prayer at our on-campus prayer rooms.
