What we do...

Weekly classes

Weekly sessions are on Mondays 5.00pm - 7.00pm, in the NTU Music Centre, Dance Studio

5.00pm - 6.00pm : Studio open for extra practice with the committee (optional to attend)

6.00 - 7.00 pm : Class with proffessional Dance teacher

In classes we usually learn and build on a piece of choreography

Performance & Competition Oppertunities

At least once a term there will be an oppertunity to showcase your talent and hardwork. Recently we have participated in Funky Wonderland 2022, as well as the Inernational Womens Day event in The Level SU (performing is completly optional). Outside of NTU we performed at 'Marijas Hips Dont Lie Hafla'.

Socials

We organise at lease one society social per term, so that we can bond and get to know eachother outside of class. Previously we have been to  ice skating discos and gone on kareoke nights, however we are always open to suggestions from our members.

We aim to know more about belly dance beyond the dance itself. Recently we have held drum workshops, where we had the chance to play with and learn about drums  in class,  as well as costume making session, where we sewed our own costumes for an upcoming performance.
