Completely new to Cosplay, or want to learn a few crafty skills? Want to showcase your talent to other individuals?

🧵🪡✂️ Come down to the Cosplay 101 Workshop! Where we will be teaching basic sewing skills, wig styling, and cosplay planning in collaboration with NTU Anime Society!

🪡 PowerPoint presentations will be displayed at the beginning with information on cosplay sourcing, lens safety and convention advice. Ray (Cosplay Events Organiser) will be leading the sewing station, demonstrating and helping individuals with skills such as different sewing patterns and purse making for beginners. Baily (Cosplay Social Sec) will be leading the wig station, showing methods on how to style and different wig recommendations. Gwen and Rachel (Anime + Cosplay Presidents) will be at the cosplay planning table helping individuals plan what outfits, materials and accessories people have ideas for!

✂️ Equipment such as hairspray, combs and pins are provided. We have 6 wigs for everyone to experiment with,  so we recommend you bring your own wigs and foam heads, and we can give you tips on how to style them. We encourage you to bring a steamer, crimper, straightener, or your own sewing kit if you do have these on hand. If not, do not worry - we will be providing these!
