We are a fully student-led society with the aim to give students the chance to equip themselves with the knowledge and skills required of the investment game, as well as the tools to achieving a successful career in the industry.
Our members have gone on to work at leading financial institutions and companies worldwide
Our mission is to bring people together, through a shared journey of learning, growing and achieving. We're committed to upskilling each member through collaboration, exposure to industry, and opportunities to compete and excel.
Interactive sessions exploring various financial concepts, learning institutional level software (Bloomberg Terminals), and idea discussion. These are events where we share and explore new fields, tools and personal projects.
Utilising our network, we host several guest speaker events throughout the year open to members, where experts from a vast array of industries including Investment Banking, Sales & Trading, Asset Management, Equity Research, and more, share insights into their careers, ultimately aiding members in the pursuit of their own high finance careers.
Our very own financial research initiative, giving members the opportunity to get hands-on with technical research on topics of their choice, leading to either independently published research articles, or contributions to our in-house biweekly newsletter. Enquire now to gain personal acumen on financial subjects, and to boost your employability with an enhanced CV.
Referrals to external resources such as early career programmes, courses, networking events, and more, are made available through our Linktree which can be accessed via our Instagram bio, adding to our proprietary pool of in-house resources and media.
Many additional opportunities are made available in the society, such as the yearly Bloomberg Trading Challenge where you can compete against universities worldwide, our internal Bloomberg Investment Competition with the chance to win prizes, our planned NTU Finance Conference in collaboration with other finance societies across the midlands, and the potential launch of our very own student-led investment fund.
We encourage collaboration in activities and connecting with members in the socials we organise during terms and beyond, including our pub visits and weekly sessions.
