Welcome to the Nottingham Trent Hindu Society for this academic year! Are you curious about Hindu culture, spirituality, and traditions? Do you want to connect with like-minded individuals and explore a rich cultural heritage? Then, you're in the right place! As part of the National Hindu Students' Forum (NHSF), the UK's largest Hindu student organisation, we strive to promote unity and understanding among Hindu students across the country.

Who We Are

Who are we? We are a diverse group of students passionate about exploring and celebrating Hinduism. Whether you're deeply rooted in Hindu practices or just beginning to explore, we offer a welcoming space for learning, connection, and personal growth. Our mission is to protect, preserve, practise, and promote Hindu Dharma. What does this mean for you? It means engaging with a vibrant community that values our rich heritage.

Our Activities

We organise a variety of events, including:

  • Cultural Celebrations: Experience the joy of Diwali, Holi, and Navratri.
  • Spiritual Sessions: Find peace through meditation, bhajans, and philosophical discussions.
  • Educational Talks & Workshops: Explore the relevance of Hinduism in today's world.
  • Community Service: Make a difference through Seva projects and charity work.
  • Social Events: Make new friends at our social gatherings and activities.

Our NHSF Connection

Ever wondered what it's like to be part of a larger community? As a member of NHSF, we collaborate with other Hindu societies across the UK, participate in national events, and celebrate our cultural heritage on a grand scale.
